Conservation of Emotions !

Surprised? We hear about conservation of water, soil and what not. But what we fail to conserve are our emotions.

Yes, 'conserve the emotions' is the mantra for this era. We used to encounter hundreds of emotions throughout the day. And this accumulates to billions of them throughout life span. The crux of emotional intelligence is learning from your earlier emotions and better channelize them the next day.  Not the theories, not the books, not the lectures but only this will make you emotionally intelligent. 

What is to be done to conserve these emotions? Here conservation need not to be taken in literal sense. What I mean by conserving the emotion is, you should not let any of your emotion go unnoticed to yourself. Because this will mean that emotions overpower you and you are weak in front of them. So notice all of them and understand how you behaved in that emotion and why. This will help you in understanding yourself in very profound way. It is the best way to introspect and be the better person next day. 

One of the best and proven way to conserve the emotions in this manner is to write down a daily diary at the end of every day when you go to sleep. Nothing is refreshing than reading what you felt or what emotions you encountered few days back. And you will learn and observe how you are changing daily.
